So… I tried. I got the book Time for Dinner: Strategies, Inspiration, and Recipes for Family Meals Every Night of the Week from a friend, and was excited about the chart of meatloaf options. And I’ve never made meatloaf. Nor did I grow up with meatloaf. But the recipe was so easy, and I already had visions of me as some kind of 1950’s housewife presenting the family with a warm, meaty meal.
And this is what came out.
Taste-wise, it wasn’t bad at all, what with the feta and the onions and the red peppers in the thing. But it looks like a shriveled turd that someone bled on and then blowtorched. Not much more to say than that, really.
