Twisty bread

Bread of the Cross

This is Tonia Deetz Rock’s twisty bread. It was delicious, but it wasn’t quite right. Let’s let her describe what happened:

“I was trying to do that popular twisty bread that everyone seems to be making with nutella. But I didn’t look at any pictures so I ended up with half as many pieces to twist. The layers between the bread are not distinct, because I made a savory version with tapenade and not something dark and sticky. The peppers look like misplaced eyes and the proportion is all off, and well, the folds look… obscene?”

Yes, Tonia, they do look obscene. On the other hand, I think you may have developed a new religious symbol. I salute your ingenuity!
